Appearances matter! While a minimum viable product may be the first step in a product’s development, well-designed hardware communicates function, reduces barriers to visualizing final form, helps detect potential user experience issues, and aids presentations and pitches.

We focus on methods that are time- and cost-efficient. We can create fully custom designs, or leverage standard hardware and enclosures and integrate our clients’ existing design language.

For projects that require higher levels of conceptual design and execution, Darby Prototype has long-established relationships with industrial and graphic design firms, and we work collaboratively to help clients conceptualize and refine their product’s appearance while maintaining manufacturability.
